The idea
Vesper is a studio concept for an upscale hospitality venue with two identities in one room: a daylight cafe that becomes a wine bar after dark. Most venues like this pick one self to show online. The experiment was to refuse the choice — to build a single page that carries both.
The mechanism
The page keeps time with the space it describes. As you scroll, the light changes: dusk settles, the palette warms, and the daytime cafe dims into its candlelit evening character. The transition isn't a gimmick bolted onto the layout — it is the layout, an ambient light system that makes the venue's dual nature the thing you experience rather than the thing you're told.
Why it matters
Hospitality sells atmosphere, and atmosphere is exactly what a standard template flattens.
